A pleasant read, a light weight, nostalgic look at Jewish immigrants in Boston in the early to mid 20th century, as told to a granddaughter in current day. I like Anita Diamant best when she writes things like The Red Tent, and Day After Night. Both were excellent. I'm waiting for another of those.
