Dark Dragon's Wolf by Anastasia Wilde
5.0
OK I don’t even know where to begin... this book is just... fabulous!! The second book in this new series has excitement, laughter, danger and romance, and continues to build on the story of the Al-Maddeiri dragons. However, it also brings us back to the Bad Blood crew and we meet up again with the wild dragons, basically all my favourites.
The book is wonderful and can be read stand-alone, but I would highly recommend reading the previous series first, as the enjoyment will be exponentially increased.
The story of Mayeh and Tristan is fun and feisty, a joy to read. They are great characters, but due to my dry sense of humour, my favourite characters are actually the red dragons (although minor players in this current story), their sarcastic, dry wit reminds me of the Bad Blood crew who I have missed so much. It was there great to have a dose of rude red dragon, but also to visit with the happily dysfunctional Bad Bloods again.
I love all the books by this author and, as ever, can’t wait for the next instalment.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
