This book had me look at burn survivors in a completely different light.
As a person of science I've read a lot about burns of all degrees, the first aids, the biology behind it but to actually read a book from this perspective was a huge change of what I knew.
I usually don't read the blurbs before I pick a book and I think reading the blurb spoils the plot of books like this. The sheer difference of not reading the blurb has a huge impact.
I anyways adored this book in the way the stereotypes and right and wrong and weird things were addressed in such a raw and honest way and I kinda liked everything about this book except the dilemma with the relationships between the characters mainly the previous friendships.
Anyhow, have fun reading, this book has a lot of triggers and deep wounds that sting the heart.
