A really good read with some excellent reflections on what it means to get older, plus the usual social commentary. There were some aspects that were a bit too neat, even by the standards of a wish-fulfilment romance novel. And I never quite believe her men. But I enjoyed it. Were we really meant to think 'there's fault on both sides' in her bust up with Jacqui? Jacqui is an utterly self-centred cow and her reappearance in Anna's life no good thing at all.
