It was a short and decent read. I had really expected a book that goes into details about how all the government vacancies are having an impact on our government and way of life during the Trump Administration; but what I got instead is a book long on explanation of some interesting functions of government but extremely light on this administration's failure to fill the vacancies. I also wish the book had gone into details about the impact a nefarious official could have on the USG (think Scott Pruitt), but unfortunately the book is silent on the matter. I'm hard pressed to recommend this specific book, but I do believe the topic merits further research and analysis. Here's hoping that a better one comes along.
