This is the third installment of the series and we follow Joseph and Lily's story. Joseph has a dark past and comes from the mafia background. We've seen him a few times in the first and second book and that's the impression we have of it. That he is all evil and villainous. But taking a closer look at his story and POV, he is just a misunderstood dark and broody guy who likes control.
Lily is a pure hearted girl who had some trouble in the past and a tragedy that shaped her into who she is, someone who likes helping people.
I liked that we found out in this book that Madam Lynn was more involved in Katia's (in the second book) entry to Club X. She is who we know as Keirstan. We find this out because Joseph actually was the one who saved her life. But we don't get any further indication of her story, just that Madam Lynn was abused probably in her youth.
All in all, I've come to like this series more and more - they are fast and spicy reads.
