The Unholy by Heather Graham

3.0

The Unholy is a fun and easy read. I enjoyed the characters being able to speak with the dead and Madison having a famous film star following her around. Graham did well in making the real killer unknown and creating a sense of intrigue. I also enjoyed the setting for the mystery a lot as well. However, I didn't enjoy a lot of other parts. The romance felt a bit forced and it felt a bit forced. It's also interesting to mention almost every character we are introduced to are handsome or pretty and white. (There are some gay people in the story though.) Also the plot twist of who the killer was didn't feel fulfilling at all, even though there was a lot of build up to it. There was a lot of cool stuff and awesome settings, yet the story didn't fulfill it in anyway.
