I wish rape wasn’t a main plot point of the series because I really struggle with it in books and this series really focuses on lots of rapes to push the book and characters along. The writing was great and I loved the characters tremendously. At times it did feel overly slow and tedious but enjoyable enough that it’s still a 4.5 star book!
