You know what I love about Jonathan Maberry?
The fact that you can count on him to entertain the heck out of you. Honestly, with shockingly few exceptions, every single release is simply superb. Maberry writes some of the best and most consistently intelligent horror out there right now.
He's not flashy, but, like I said, he's consistent.
This collection just grabs you. You'll laugh. You'll cringe. You'll choke and you'll choke up. Just a phenomenal collection of a range of stories. I think of all the things I've read from Maberry, this may be the one that shows his range.
