A Superstitious Christmas
by Tonya Kappes
This was my first Grandberry Falls book. I'm superstitious and I love Christmas so I thought it would be a good place to start.
In this book Maggie is bringing home a surprise for Granny...her fiancé. Only there are a few problems with that. The book doesn't really end so the problems aren't resolved. That didn't bother me though as this is a prequel to the series. I thought it a good way to meet some important characters. I quickly became attached to Maggie and her family. The story is somewhat sad though and I hope Maggie makes the right choice. At the moment, I think I know what she should do but I really don't know enough about Grady yet. He could turn out to be it. I have the other books in the series and will be reading them to see.
This book was clean with no adult language, graphic sex or violence. It could use some editing to clean it up but I wasn't really bothered by the few errors. I truly liked the story. It did what it was suppose to...drew me in, got me invested and introduced me to the important people and a couple of problems that I am certain will be the focus of the series.
