lowkeyreader 's review for:
Taking His Shot
by Kendall Ryan
I am totally in love with this series and so sad to see the end of the series. I've enjoyed every single one of them, reading these guys finding their HEAs.
If you've read the previous books, you'll know this one's Jordie's book, the rookie of the team. He won a bid an auction to one date with the Ice Princess, Harper, his coach's daughter. When he realised that, you'll know it wouldn't go well. But he's always been straightforward and honest, he wasn't expecting his coach to give him the green light to pursue his daughter. However, there's one rule that Harper has followed strictly her adult life, it is to never date players, specifically hockey players. Been there, done that.
Jordie take it upon himself and make it a challenge for Harper to bend that rule. The more time he spend pursuing, wooing and courting her for one date, it turned to more than one date. He felt himself falling for her. Then obviously, there's going to be bumps just when they started to get more serious. You'll just have to read this one
