A pretty meh conclusion to the trilogy. The ending feels final, and I didn't enjoy the trilogy enough to continue reading the follow up books. For book #2, I struggled to keep track of the characters and their relationships, and the same happened for this book, which is...not great. I was not invested in the mysteries this time around, either. It all just felt over-engineered, and frankly Tobias Hawthorne is basically a villain for all he put these kids (and let's not forget, they're straight up babies) through.
