This was my first true crime read. I’ve heard amazing things about this author and decided to start with this book of his.
This story was outrageous, unfortunately. It was heartbreaking to learn about the families that were ruined at Sharon’s direction. Her selfishness cost the lives of several men, with a few others luckily spared. I felt especially bad for the children of Sharon’s lovers that were murdered.
You can tell that the author put a lot of work into getting the facts correct for this novel. It would’ve earned a 5th star from me, but I didn’t care for the way the story was laid out. For me, it jumped around a little too much.
I can’t wait to give another one of his books a read!
