Doll Bones by Holly Black
3.0
2.9 stars
This story did not get me hooked the way I thought it would. The characters were okay. Poppy is the one who drives the story despite Zach being the main character, while Alice was more of a tool to keep the plot going.
When I reached the part where the origin of the doll was revealed, it did not wow me in any way. Something was lacking. Maybe it was because I did not care about the doll. After all, the doll was not doing anything that would grab my attention.
It was an okay book, but I will not be rereading it.
