The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

4.0

I chose this one for book bingo - A book set in a country you would like to visit.

Jess(ica) goes to Paris to stay with her brother and shows up to find him, but he is not there. So she goes looking for him to find a weird apartment with more than odd neighbors. And this is where the book really takes off. (And it also shows that apparently everyone who lives in Paris smokes?)

It did suck me in and held my attention throughout the book. I enjoyed the character-building and the story overall. A few parts felt drawn out a little too much, but overall, it gave me a pretty good suspenseful feeling. I'll certainly read more from Lucy Foley.
