I read this one on a whim. I found out that the book club at our local library was meeting on Saturday to discuss this one &, we didn’t have plans for that part of the day & I was able to find it on the Libby app for immediate borrow, so, I decided to go for it.
I’m not the biggest fan of historical fiction when including people who really existed, especially when their real story has never really been told. Having said that, I can appreciate the genre just I do feel like this one was done really well. I also really appreciated the author’s note at the end.
