Rounding up from 4.5. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it helped me realize something about the sort of angst I enjoy. I’m not a fan of angst manufactured of misunderstandings, but in this book the MCs were fully aware of where each of them stood and what they could live with. The angst was the sad impasse of what seemed like an impossible situation. It was done very well, and each MC’s POV was lovely. The audio narration by Tommy Hawthorne was excellent.
