This was a decent read, but not a five star one. There was too much in this story that is the same as what I've read from mythology. Some details were the same and then things were changed, and it caused a dissonance for me when I read that kept me from getting into the story completely. It was still a good story, but it just felt too much like its origins to stand on it's own. At least for me.
