This book is a bit of romance escapism that came at just the right time for me! The characters were fully formed and I loved them both - Layla was easy to identify with and love, and I totally understand what she means when saying that she always kind of felt out of place with people. She is looking for a break after a difficult life when suddenly every thing comes crashing down around her and her plans are in ruins. Right at that moment, Colt comes to the rescue, and the tension just keeps building from there! Colt is the walking stereotype of a hot older cowboy - there is a reason that is a romance book stereotype, it just works! Very spicy book with all the sexual tension and really enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!
