Keeping 13
by Chloe Walsh
This book features
The last 200 pages of this book were the best out of the entire duology (mostly because of Shannon's siblings - Sean and Ollie <3) but I can not ignore the first 400 pages.
I will not be reading any other books in this series, but I still think it’s worth trying out if you are interested.

Spoiler
a lackluster romance with frequent and the cheesiest expressions of love, the cringiest dialogue between friends, bad attempts at humor, a crazy amount of dry humping, the main couple somehow being caught being intimate three times (and each time was prefaced with “Bang, bang, bang” indicating that someone was knocking on the door), Shannon constantly sitting in Johnny's lap, Shannon saying "Oh. Okay" 24/7, repetitive storylines, repetitive conversations, the presence of Lizzie in order to highlight the amazingness of the heroine and her best friend, setups for the stories of future couples that I do not care about, the overuse of “Huh?”, “whoa”, “waggled his eyebrows”, “smirk”, “snicker”, “gruff”, the nickname “Shannon like the river", ejaculation talk between the Johnny, Johnny's mom, and Gibsie, and so much more that I am likely forgetting. The last 200 pages of this book were the best out of the entire duology (mostly because of Shannon's siblings - Sean and Ollie <3) but I can not ignore the first 400 pages.
