This was a weird book. Some passages were very beautiful and got to me.
But a lot of things just felt weird. I didn't like Lena's POV most of the book.
Also, a lot of the male characters were just really strange.
Some details didn't make sense. Why did sparrow unpack her tracker and compass?
Why does she know so little about survival?
Why didn't she use a campsite near a water source?
I don't know, some things felt incohesive.
I liked Bev and Sparrow as characters, though. I also likes Santos parts.
Overall it was an ok book. I don't regret reading it, but it's not a book I would recommend.
