I wanted to love this but it was so dense and unfortunately found myself turning pages back to remind myself what I’d just read. Maybe that’s a me problem!! The themes were very intense and vivid, I think there are many who would benefit from this peek into Max’s mind. The dynamic with Harry was excellently written and so human. There was so much to really reflect on, it was so paranoid, I’m very intrigued to read other reviews of this now that I’ve (finally) completed it.
