The Gentle Sleep Book: Gentle, No-Tears, Sleep Solutions for Parents of Newborns to Five-Year-Olds by Sarah Ockwell-Smith

informative medium-paced

I’ll start by saying I’m pretty sure sleep training is not for me, which is why I was interested in this book. She’s reeeeaaally biased against sleep training, but also offers some research as to why sleep training might not be the best for kids. A lot of what’s in this book are things I’ve read online already, but it’s explained and organized nicely. I think she’s upfront about saying these methods will take time to work, which is good for parent expectations.
