The book was a lot of fun, taking clear inspiration from 1 Direction Fandom. Not QUITE fic with the serial numbers shaved off, but close enough to Jazz in terms of plot.
Despite two different authors working on the different chapters, I found Zach and Ruben pretty interchangeable. Most of the time I found it pretty hard to distinguish between who was talking up until a major character trait like "Abusive Mum" or "Song Lyricist" was mentioned.
I don't think the series was BAD. I just think it could have been written better.
