Thoroughly enjoyable overview of psychoanalytical defence mechanisms. A ‘stuffy’ topic is made personal and approachable by the author who is clearly knowledgeable (and also writes in a very likeable way). I would highly recommend this book to anyone that has even a passing interest in the subject.
