This is such a beautiful book that’s a love letter to books, libraries, and community. It’s a wonderful novel to read and show how going to a third place like a library can change your life for the better. Do know going in though that this book does touch on grief quite a bit and is upfront about it to start. But as someone who has had to deal with a lot of loss over the past 5 years, it’s a beautiful narrative of grief and different ways to handle it.
