As someone who always had wonder for STEM and specifically cosmology but was convinced that I wasn’t smart enough to understand let alone explore, this book opened the door. Chanda Prescott-Weinstein provides layers of representation , insight, context and a semblance of order to science and the universe as well as what is means to be a non white human in a white based system. Thoughtful, personal, inspiring - this is a book I will keep on my shelf as a physics reference book as well as reminder of what real life groundbreaking and advocacy looks like.
