A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf
4.5

The luck of being born a woman and the terror of it. Woolf speaks to a generation of women chained to a system designed against their interests but her arguments regarding financial freedom and expressive autonomy are all too relevant today.

I am reminded always of the generations of women before me who would have killed to live the way I do. I owe them everything.
