What i enjoy about this series so far is how it interacts with being nonbinary or gender queer. I think it can be challenging, having grown up in a world where boy and girl are shoved down your throat to say "hey I'm not that."
In this volume we see more of the characters voicing their feelings about Hinase as well as seeing how other characters view them.
Many of these characters try to pull Hinase's characteristics and put them into a male or female box, which 100% also happens i the real world.
I enjoy that there are various levels of "I don't care what their gender is" because that again is realistic.
Can't wait to read more volumes in this world.
