I read this when I was sleeping over at my cousins' house. (Along with the rest of the Wimpy Kid series. Yeah, in one night.)
I didn't think much of it. It was cynical and sarcastic (which I can appreciate sometimes, but not here). Not to mention that it focused on a main character with extremely low values. He had no appreciation for family or friends, and he seemed to be hating on Rowley (when he got popular) and Fregley. I almost wonder if most of Fregley's stories were fabricated.
My personal opinion? If I met Greg Heffley, I'd like to put him in solitary confinement. (OK, not that severe.)
