Between Sun and Moon
by Jaclyn Kot
Fast-paced, witty banter, and realistic characters - what's not to love?
Jaclyn Kot took everything that I loved in Between Life and Death and amplified it. The easy dialogue and easy integration of the world-building and lore makes the story and magic system unique but easy to digest without weighing the book down and distracting from the plot. A lot of fantasy struggles to balance this, but Kot does it beautifully.
The banter is so well done. Sage is such a relatable character with her attitude and big heart, and her strength is incredibly motivating and encouraging. I am on the edge of my seat for the next book!
