Doom Patrol Vol. 1: Brick by Brick by Gerard Way
4.0
Gerard Way's unique imagination takes the reader to some weird places. I expect nothing else from Doom Patrol. And Way's run has a chance to meet the standards of weirdness and quirkiness set by Grant Morrison whose Doom Patrol Arc remains a timeless classic.
Brick by Brick reintroduces DC's strangest Heroes with gusto, with the story that goes only in one direction - it gets weirder. I suggest checking the first issue - if you'll hate it, you'll hate Way's run. If you'll feel intrigued, you'll probably have a lot of fun. And even if you'll scratch your head, perplexed, unsure what's going on, the art and charming characters should sustain your interest.
