📌“Nothing wrong with flirting, Willow. It’s a delightful little dance, and I thoroughly enjoy dancing.”

📌 “Art isn’t supposed to be perfect.”

📌 “Our life is supposed to have different chapters with different arcs and different people in them. It gives us the experience we need to realize when we’ve found the ending we want to keep.”

I’m obsessed with the Mathertons. All of them. But not in a Felicia-stalky way. In a respectful-need-all-their-books-immediately desperate way. 😭

But first things first. This book was a powerful little thing. And by little I mean it’s book size and “fits inside” a kindle. Because, honestly, it might be quite larger than life. The emotional range it put me through. Goodness. Give me all of it, all over again.

My heart broke so many times. And yet it was nursed back to life just as many. Even more. Nursed to be better, stronger. Like Lincoln and Willow. Stronger together. Better together.

But if the love story was unforgettable, the suspense might be the real MVP here. It was flawless. It kept me guessing until the very last moment. Masterful thriller vibes that had me begging for more.

Knowing who the next book is about right at the end has made me a mad woman. I need. NEED. His story. Please and thank you.

Thank you so much LJ Evans for this beautiful ARC.
