The Secret Place by Tana French
2.0

Tana French usually creates such rich characters that I can relate to at least some aspect of even the "villans". She failed me with this novel, tho'. Most of the characters were either boring or incredibly annoying. I just couldn't get terribly invested in any of them. That combined with the way I correctly figured out the murderer rather early on explains my lower rating for a French novel.
