Alright, this book deserves the hype it gets. It is just the ideal cute, comfy romance book. Adam and Olive's relationship was adorable the whole time, and there were so many of those "put the book down and squeal" moments that I love in romances.
One of my favorite things about their relationship is how kind Adam was to Olive the whole time. Even when she messed up, he was super sweet to her and always was making sure that she was okay. This is especially great since their relationship follows the grumpy x sunshine trope, so Adam was nice to her and her alone !! so cute.
Speaking of tropes, this is definitely a trope heavy story. I loved all the different rom-com moments that were included, so if you like trope-y things, you'll love this!
I think if I were to try and look at this book critically, there would be issues that I could bring up, but that's not really the point of reading this I think? I really believe that if you go into this expecting a cutesy romance, you'll love it. That's really all that matters!
My only critique of this book is literally just a personal preference, so really take this with a grain of salt and don't let it affect your feelings towards it: the spice in this book was a bit too much for me? I'm not a big fan of in depth spice scenes, and while there is only one sex scene in this book, it goes on waaaay too long for my comfort and there were just too many details and descriptions that I was not looking for. But I haven't seen anyone else have any issues with this aspect, so unless you are not into spice like I am, it is likely that you will not be bothered at all!
I should also probably mention that I did not love Olive's character as much as everyone else seems to. Don't get me wrong, I think she's fun and I enjoyed reading her perspective, but she was just TOO MUCH. She had an anxious breakdown after every single conversation! And like, I get it and I've been there, but it just felt a bit much that a grown woman had so little confidence! Part of the story deals with her lack of confidence, so it makes sense, but it was just a bit strange at times.  Adam also seemed to struggle with his confidence in the relationship at times, so together they seemed more young than they were supposed to be. BUT, this made things cuter at times, so it worked out.

Okay moral of the story: really cute relationship/book, definitely 18+, super quick read. <3
