Frankly, I don’t like philosophy books disguised as fiction. In a dialog, where the author controls both sides of an argument, the winner is predetermined and the discussion is rigged. In this case, the book presents a fake discussion that lead to praise of anarcho-primitivism. (Quinn referred to his philosophy as "new tribalism") this is embedded in a small sci-fi story, cause one of the dialog partners is a telepathic Gorilla. As story goes, it’s okay. As philosophical discourse it is shallow and naive. A short brief read, though.
