Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

5.0

I went into this book pretty much blind. I briefly read the back but honestly I knew I would like it simply because CoHo is good at what she does. This book was not at all what I expected. With the premise of “boyfriend cheating with best friend” and “mysterious and attractive neighbor”, I could guess where the plot was going. But I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that this book had anything to do with music (although I guess the guitar and music sheets should’ve tipped me off). When I saw there was a soundtrack for this book, I was intrigued. I couldn’t get it to work but I’m sure that whenever I end up rereading this book, I’ll listen along for a new experience.

Overall, great read. Colleen Hoover’s characters are complex and well written, as always. I like the split POV. 5/5.
