This book wrecked me in such a great way. It's Bridgerton meets Pirates and it's everything you didn't know you were missing.

Our FMC, Rose, is a young woman who is just trying to save her family by concocting a plan that involves pirates and a perilous journey. Our MMC, Flynn, is the captain of the pirate ship that Rose chooses for this journey of hers.

Rose struggles with her ADHD and has been in a toxic relationship that has shaped the way she thinks of herself. She makes MANY rash decisions throughout this book and us readers have no choice but to whiteknuckle it until the end with her. I loved watching Rose's character grow through the story. While Flynn plays a big part of her character growth, so does many of the other wonderful characters we meet throughout the story.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll curse some characters. You'll feel anxious, you'll feel ecstatic, you'll feel heartbreak. By the end, you will feel like you've spent hours on a pirate ship at sea in a storm, but you'll still want more.
