I wasn’t sure if I should rate this 4.5 or 5 stars, but I honestly enjoyed this so much that I talked my own mothers ear off about it. So, definitely a 5 star read!
Finlay was so funny and 100% relatable as a hot-mess mom. My sister has three kids under 3 and I honestly was so amused by Finlay that I could exactly imagine her chaos because of my own sister. Clearly the events were fetched, but still so believable I thoroughly enjoyed the way this went.
It was lighthearted and amusing, and the mystery was definitely grabbing. At no part of this whole series of events did I fall into boredom. It kept me captivated the entire time. Not to mention, the absolute embarrassment I felt as Finlay was too funny.
I was so happy I read this over Mother’s Day weekend, and it was so good I took my mum to the bookstore to get the second.
