Darwyn Cooke and Ed Brubaker’s Catwoman: Trail of the Catwoman is pure noir goodness — a slick heist, gritty detective work, and a reinvention of Selina Kyle that still holds up. At 300+ pages for $10 in the Compact Comics line, the value’s unbeatable.
