This. Book. Is. Intense!
I mean, dang! The main character is just so messed up and unlucky, its very sad.
The author really knows how to write violent scenes though, and you could totally feel like you're the one doing it too. Excellent writing, I'm so emphatic with Shame, maybe its the first-person POV or maybe its just that everything he thinks about, is out for us to read. Either way, I want to give that guy a hug! Funny thing is though, this book can be comedic at times despite the situation, maybe it's just me...
I really, really like JB, he's a really likeable guy, the kind of guy I would be friends with. And I'm kinda glad the author got Anna's title (laoban) right, haha (tiny chinese details matter alot).
That ending... >_< OMG, I really hope there's going to be a sequel SOON or I'll go crazy!
And I wish the author would namedrop Shame's real name somewhere within the pages though....I'm kind of curious...
