The Visitor by Lori Wick

1.0

I bought this because i liked the idea of loving someone's voice. Aaaand...I want the second-hand-book-amount-of-money i paid for this back.

I read it in the span of 3 months, whenever i can fit it in weekends, and when i can bear it. Halfway they've had their confessions and i was like, IT'S DONE! WHAT ELSE? WHY ARE THERE STILL A HUNDRED FIFTY PAGES LEFT?

It never failed to make me roll my eyes. The longest streak was three pages.

Everybody had a perfect, Christian, 'sweet' (pukeable) marriage. There were about four such pairs characters the book kept switching to, besides the two main ones (who, guess what, had a DOUBLE WEDDING. Who wants that, tell me. I can only think of Barbie the Princess and the Pauper, and that had a better love story than this)

It dragged on, with disgustingly sweet couples, bland speech, purposely but ineffectively unrealistic time setting, everything was so shallow i wonder what happened to Lori Wick. Maybe she herself fell off a horse.
