This was a great anthology or collection – depending on how you think of it. It was a great way to catch up on the work of one of the authors I follow and to discover three new ones. The women take a lead in this group of stories and their men are great complements – but the women are what shine as our authors introduce us to this new MC.
I finished the first novella and knew that I wanted to get to know this MC better. It also left me looking forward to seeing what these authors have in store for me now that I’ve gotten to know some of their characters. It’s a set that went by quickly and I was disappointed when it all came to an end. And the next disappointment was not being able to find out when the next season is coming.
