The second installment of the story was just as wonderful as I expected while having the same flaws as book one, but on a little bit of a larger scale. And what I mean by that is, pacing and set up for book 3. It is very evident that this book is really guiding us to the base of the mountain so to speak, and then we will climb said mountain in book three. I thought there was phenomenal character growth in this book but I did find it to be a little meandering and at times I was a little teensy bit board. I think that Tad's writing is really beautiful. You just really have to lock in to appreciate it fully and you can't let your mind wander for a second haha 😆
