I didn’t like a second of what I read.
The characters were all drug/alcohol addicts with no redeeming qualities and I couldn’t relate to them at all.
Avery was a previous drug addict who is now sleeping with a random guy who is not her wife. Lucky is getting high whenever she can, doing very questionable things for photo shoots and sleeping by with random girls.
Bonnie had mysterious issues that she isn’t coping with but she’s a boxer and I don’t like boxing.
This was a book club book, and I really tried to get through it, but after 50% I was just feeling miserable and gross so I decided to dnf it.
