This was a very fun found family story. Linus Baker, classic square, finds himself stretching the bounds of his own beliefs and perceptions of the world on his four-week assignment to the beautiful Marsyas Island. While on the island, he is supposed to evaluate the safety and fitness of children - and their house master - in an orphanage…. For magical beings. Each character is presented with love and care, and the entire story wraps you up in a big, comforting hug.
Rating 4/5 because it was relatively predictable, and some of the dialogue felt a bit canned, but the story was great.
