I found this series to get worse with each book. I loved the first book, was a little disappointed with the second, and kind of didn't like this one. There were a few aspects I found problematic the two female antagonists constantly being referred to has whores/bitches when the male antagonist was just named, felt very misogynistic . The choice on when to jump ahead in the timeline and when not to was odd sometimes. For as much detail as some aspects got, other equally valid aspects felt skipped over. The romance plot for example, was extremely lacking in actual development. The base plot was interesting, and I mostly liked the characters, but there were just too many inconsistencies with the story for me to like it. I will not be persuing other books by her.
