I started my God Eater journey with Herald and followed it right after with Demon. I can't get enough of this world that Hayes has created.
This is the BRUTAL beginning of Dien Hostain's story. Saint Dien is a character you will see named all throughout God Eater, and in Demon, we get to see where she came from.
I really enjoyed the entire read, though I felt it took half the story to really get going. I enjoyed the slower beginning well enough but it did not compare to the last 50 percent of the book.
Dien is a character I long to learn more about and I am already eagerly anticipating God Eater 2. It can't come fast enough.
