It was ok. Felt like a bit of a tough slog at times - I didn’t feel attached enough to any of the characters to want to find out what happened to them. A few times I considered DNF-ing.
For me, I think it was a mix of the themes that I just wasn’t interested in. Between the royalty, Instagram, paparazzi of it all, two FMC who - to me - didn’t exude chemistry, and the boarding school atmosphere. It just wasn’t anything I could ever relate to but that wouldn’t be a problem if it was at least enjoyable… but it wasn’t. It wasn’t clever, or captivating, even the mysterious elements and villain arcs fell flat for me. Disappointing
Also, zero 🌶️
