13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl by Mona Awad

2.0

I found that this book was lacking. There was no connectivity or investment. It was well-written but heavy and, at times, confusing. The book consists of thirteen chapters jumping to various points in the protagonist's life, not all of which are told from the protagonist's point of view.

There did not seem to be any consistent threads except for Elizabeth's (protagonist) anger and, that, even at times, had me confused. I don't know if I can explain exactly why I didn't think this was a good book because it was written well, but I just think it misses the mark.

I don't recommend this book.
